Damn....Damn.....Damn!!!!!!!
These locs drive me crazy in the summer. My head sweats too much and I feel like I have a sweater on my top of my head in 90 degree weather!!!!! It's too much of a task to wash them as much as I would like in the summer time. But I have to cause I can't stand no sweaty smelling hair.....where the scissors at? Naw, I'll hold off on cutting them......gotta stick to the 'cutting locs plan'......oh well I guess I gotta wash my hair....retwist my locs...and be prepared to do it again in a few days cause my head sweats too much in the summer time!!!! Damn...Damn...Damn.....

LMAO!!!!! AT LEAST ITS HOT WHERE U AT!!! IM STILL WEARING A COAT OVER HERE
the reason I cut all my hair off... I dont know how women do it...
I don't think ur hair has anything to do with it. I washed my hair on friday before the barber shop, after the barber shop, twice on saturday, and once yesterday. Its hot and I don't like no caked on sweaty smelling hair.
Thats too funny!
I felt like I had a helmet on my head - I have a lot of hair - with bangs---
my mother has locks and so do a lot of my friends so i know your plight.
i have a little length to my hair but sista - i was holding my hair up just to see how it would look short because saturday in nyc just about drove me loca!
be strong, don't grab the scissors just yet but if you do (by mistake - lol) it is completely understandable.
if you were here in this hunnid degree weather...you'd cut it off. LOL
i like the look, tho.
LOL!! I feel you, I had a "back away from the scissors" moment just yesterday.
This southern heat is killing me slowly, and it is not officially summer yet. I am dreading (no pun intended) the August heat.
awww....Im sorry...girl I know what you mean though, I tried wearing a wig before and that is not the business when its hot out
Hey baby. I needs your prayer so be sure to read the latest blog. Take care now.
Signed
Ruthie Ann
p.s. Chile I know how you feels. I still ain't found me a good summer wig. But I try not to wear the stocking cap underneath my wig to keep my head a lil bit cool.
i wash my hair 3 times a week
Beauty is pain Florida!
Girl it's damn near a hundred degrees here. I couldn't even imagine having the feeling there was a sweater on my head.
Kudos to you for maintaining!
Love the locs [I sure do] but I can definitely see how the heat would make you entertain thoughts of choppin' em' off!!
Have you thought about pulling them back in one or getting them braided into a style so that they don't hang loosely??
@The Flyyest-Are you kidding me!
@EB-I miss my afro big time wash and go!
@Darius-Well it's easier with a fade, I'd be doing that too!
@Ticia-Can you imagine feeling like you have a sweater and a helmet on??? I would die!
@Msknowitall-Pray for my strength sistah...lol
@12kyle-Thanks Brother!
@Kay C-Glad to know I'm not the only one backing away from the scissors.
@Poca-I couldn't imagine wearing a wig in the summer...I would definitely die!
@Ruthie Ann-Just wondering what does your hair look like under the wig??
@Torrance-I assume you let it air dry???? That would work if I didn't avoid the heat as much as possible.
@2nd 68-DAMN DAMN DAMN!!!!
@Diva-a sweater head in 90 degrees at nothing nice!
@MsBehaving-Thank you. I like it, just can't stand it in the summer. Yeah I try to keep it pulled up, but it still sweats!
