UNSOLVED MYSTERY

Last night my sistah-girl (transition: one of my best friends), her toddler, and I ate some Chinese food that has caused me to question the reason why I recently aborted my 2 year vegetarian kick. Yes, I gave up all meat for 2 whole years! Just in case you’re wondering I did not lose weight. As a matter of fact, I would get the craziest looks or comments when some would find out I didn’t eat meat. I won’t label those looks and comments as ignorance, but rather lack of knowledge which is just a nice way of saying IGNANT! But I’m going off on a tangent!

Anyway, we ordered orange chicken, shrimp fried rice, and chicken and broccoli. I don’t know what in the world we ate, but it sho wasn’t chicken!!!!!!!!Needless to say, I have lost my appetite for Chinese food and I am trying to get my mind back on the no meat thing after that mystery meat. YUCK!

I like to give myself challenges and I’ve always wanted to be a vegetarian (don’t know why, but I just did). So I made up my mind and I made it happen for 2 years straight. So many people would be like “no way could I give up meat”. It really wasn’t hard once I did it.

What is something that you think you’d never be able to give up? Why not?

Chile I love meat and it ain't goin' anywhere near "out of my diet." Chinese food restaurants just aren't the source for that meat. Now steak restaurants...

The thing I can't imagine giving up though is sweets. It may likely be the death of me (but if not that, surely something else). I'm a big fan of ice cream (Blue Bell...from Texas) and have never kicked my breakfast cereal habit. Do I even need to mention Kool Aid? Some aspects of childhood never die.

back in the day, it was coke (a-cola). i was ADDICTED! i had to have it when i woke up and all thru the day. if i didn't, i was very snappy. but i kicked that one. currently, i've erased all sodas and i thought it would be as hard but it wasn't.

but i don't think i could EVER give up breads. i have to have them in some form. i'm not a bread-a-holic, but i do enjoy muffins, rolls, danish, ALL OF THAT!!!

LOL @ RDB "as long as my teeth are all human teeth, are made by God to shred meat." Wow...lol

I could not give up my music. My day is not complete if it isn't filled with the eclectic blend of R&B, Alternative, Neo-Soul, and Jazz. I couldn't imagine a day not being able to rock out to Linkin Park or groove with The Isley Brothers.

Giving up things, eh?
I guess I won't ever be able to give up my Need to Know stuff. That is a simple way of putting it, and it leads to lots of Poop. But that is the one things.
Oh! And deep kisses, pizza and my Nerdism.
Rock on!

Favorite Kool Aid? They don't make it any more. It used to be Rockadile Red (closest thing to non existent Red Kool Aid, though many are red in color.) Mixing grape and lemonade together usually edges out Tropical Punch.

I don't know what it is I wouldn't be ale to live without, I really, really try not to have an addictive personality in any aspect and try to give up things on the regular.

But come to think of it... MAGAZINES are my guilty pleasure!!!

I'm actually on my quest to vegetarianism, so any tips/advice. Please send or tell me something about cooking tofu, cause I just "can't get right".

As I was thinking and talking with my cousin I think I couldn't live without forms of communication!!!
